The Range

Our temperature controlled indoor range services our classes, shooting leagues, and walk-in firearm enthusiasts from Lorain and surrounding counties.

Allowed on the Range

  • Handguns: All calibers up to .50 AE
  • Rifles: Up to 30-06 (2.23/5.56, 7.62x39, 30-06 - no green tip)
  • Shotguns: Slugs only, no buckshot or birdshot

Not Permitted

  • Steel-core or armor-piercing ammunition
  • Tracer or incendiary rounds
  • Reloaded or remanufactured ammunition
  • Rifle calibers (50 calibers)
  • Fully automatic firearms (without prior approval)
  • Drawing from holster (without prior approval)

Range Rules

All shooters must follow these rules at all times. Violations may result in removal from the range.

Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on the range.

Always keep the firearm pointed downrange.

Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

Firearms are to remain at the stall at all times.

No smoking, vaping, food, or drinks are allowed in the range.

If you are a novice shooter, it is your responsibility to inform the attendant. This is for your safety and the safety of others.

All firearms are to be emptied, made safe with the action open when not in use.

No loaded firearms are permitted outside the range unless you are authorized by law to carry a firearm.

No firearm shall be removed from your holster or case in the showroom or waiting area.

In the event your firearm jams or has any issues with firing, leave the firearm in the stall pointing downrange and inform the range officer.

Never shoot across the stalls — only at the target directly in front of you.

Maximum of 2 people per stall.

Under no circumstances is anybody allowed forward of the range line.

If you drop something or it falls forward, ask the range officer for assistance.

In case of a cease fire: immediately open the action, set the firearm down in the stall pointing downrange, and step back away from the stall.

Please clean your stall after shooting as a courtesy to others.

No drawing from the holster.

Rapid fire / FRT must be announced at the counter and is only permitted with approval from the range officer.

No head shots — you will be responsible for any damages caused to the target carrier.

If you wish to rent one of our firearms, you must purchase our ammunition.

Any behavior deemed unsafe by our staff may result in expulsion with loss of range privileges. No refunds will be granted.

The range is rented in half-hour and hour increments. It is your responsibility to monitor your time.

You will be held financially responsible for any damage to our range equipment, including target holders, lines, trolleys, etc.

All shooters must sign a liability waiver before using the range.
